The Emerald offers a unique experience for children and young people who will receive adequate care and nurturing in a “normal home” setting.
The Emerald is a privately-owned Children’s Home that is registered for 3 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), The Emerald offers short, medium and long term residential placements for young people of either gender aged up to 17 on admission. The Emerald offers a welcoming and supportive environment recognising that the young people that are cared for are valued as individuals.
- 52-week care for children.

- 24hr support with adequate support for each child.
- A robust management on call support system.
At the Emerald, our ethos is grounded in the fundamental values of love, respect, inspiration, support, and joy. We believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment that goes beyond mere shelter – a place where they feel cherished, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.
We aim to support children and young people to reach their full potential and if appropriate, prepare to return home, live in a new placement or live independently as an adult.
